Abstract
With the rapid development of the Internet of things, there are problems such as networking cost, data sharing, privacy and security protection. With its decentralized architecture and distributed node deployment, blockchain can effectively reduce the operation cost of the Internet of things, ensure the accuracy and non tamperability of the recorded information, and make privacy and security based. With the heated discussion on blockchain and the Internet of things technology widely infiltrated in people’s lives, it can be found that the distributed and decentralized characteristics of blockchain have many similarities with the distributed characteristics of the Internet of things. The best application scenario of blockchain technology is the Internet of things. In the Internet of things, the core of the value and development of data is the massive data of devices. Solving the problems of trusted operation and heavy operation between IOT systems in different fields is the core goal of blockchain application in IOT. On this basis, an open ecosystem is constructed. This paper focuses on the consensus mechanism in the blockchain system, makes a quantitative comparison of the current mainstream consensus mechanisms in terms of throughput and delay, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of each consensus algorithm, and systematically studies the widely used consensus mechanism.
