Abstract

this paper investigates the impedance behavior of the large electrical power system with consideration of the capacitor bank and multiple nonlinear loads. Two methods have been used to predict the harmonic problems under these non sinusoidal conditions, which are the harmonic power flow and frequency scan. Both methods have been applied to the Algerian 114 buses equivalent network.
