Abstract
With the emergence of the Internet of Things, there has been significant growth in the number of smart compatible devices, necessitating the development of more effective data storage systems. So far, cloud storage has shown to be a feasible method for storing and processing enormous amounts of data. Due to bandwidth limits, cloud computing is projected to fail in the future years to manage the massive amounts of data created by IoT devices. Fog Computing is a more advanced technique that aims to address several flaws in large-scale IoT networks. Fog Computing is anticipated to enable mobile users near high-quality Cloud services. With low latency and high bandwidth, the Fog can supply computing power and storage space. The proposed study focuses on a fog-based workflow management system that eliminates cloud-based restrictions such as bandwidth, latency, and data storage.
