Abstract

This paper introduces three kinds of high power density light sources which are independently designed. Two of them use ceramic substrate and flip chip. Another one use metal substrate and lateral structure chip. The tests of their light efficiency, color temperature and color rendering index are conducted. After that, the three kinds of light sources are lighten for 1500 hours at the environment temperature of 55°C. After the aging test, the parameters such as light efficiency, color temperature and color rendering index are recorded. All the data are compared at the end of the paper.
