Safety investment is an important material guarantee and basis for civil aviation safety. A review of recent research articles related to safety investment was presented and the research status, achievements, existing problems and development prospects were introduced. The construction method of safety investment index system, the cost-benefit analysis of safety investment, and the safety investment decision-making methods were summarized. Abstract
