Abstract

This paper proposes the Intensity Modulation and Direct Detection optical wireless communication system with the nonorthogonal Code Shift Keying. The proposed scheme systematically constructs nonorthogonal sequences. It is expected that the proposed scheme improves the throughput since the proposed system increases the number of sequences without lengthening pseudo-noise sequences. This paper analytically evaluates the throughput of the proposed scheme. The numerical result shows that the throughput of the proposed scheme is better than those of the conventional schemes.
