Abstract
A smart house, is a home that incorporates advanced automation systems to provide the inhabitants with sophisticated monitoring and control over the building's functions. Solar and wind energy and hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) commonly used in smart houses. Renewable electrical energy sources such as solar power and wind energy are becoming increasingly important owing to the limited fossil fuels resources and their negative environmental impact, on the other hand HEVs are becoming promising alternatives to be remedy for urban air pollution, greenhouse gases and depletion of the finite fossil fuel resources as they use centrally generated electricity as a power source. In smart houses, the important thing is energy management between input sources, so this paper proposes the multi-sources energy configuration and novel controller by combining the proportional integral (PI) and cultural algorithm (CA) based feedback control of an energy management system (EMS) for multi sources smart house. The purpose of the EMS is delivered a smooth line voltage to the power grid.
