Abstract
In order to meet the demand of broadband miniaturized solid-state power amplifiers for radar systems, a high efficiency power amplifier was designed and implemented using a 0.5um GaN HEMT process. The power amplifier is realized by using passive elements on substrates with different permittivity for reducing the size and a compact broadband matching topology for broadband.
