Recovery and utilization of waste heat is an effective route of energy conservation and emission reduction. In this paper, simple discussion about recovery and reutilization of all heats involved in the process of emission of a vessel was made. Two devices, heat pipe exchanger and plate heat exchanger, were selected. These two devices play a role of transferring heat during recovery of waste heat from emission of a vessel. Some data under ideal working conditions, e.g. heat transfer capacity, heat transfer coefficient, heat transfer efficiency, were obtained through calculation. Data in these two circumstances were compared and analyzed. Abstract
