By etching two slots on the metal frames, the antenna element is able to operate from 3.3 to 6 GHz. The antenna can obtain a high isolation up to 18 dB by introducing a new defected ground structure. The envelope correlation coefficient (ECC) via any two elements is below 0.05 and the efficiencies are higher than 40%. For demonstration, the proposed antenna system has been fabricated and measured. Abstract
