Abstract

The existing RYB color wheel widely used to create harmonic color compositions is not applicable in modern digital art and design. The reason is that colors formed by light, “additive colors”, and those formed by pigments, “subtractive colors” did in fact operate by different rules, and had different primary and complementary colors. So new color wheel is proposed - “RGB color wheel” suitable .to work with colors in digital environment.  The RGB color wheel is based on the primary colors R, G, B, defined by sRGB color space, create by additive mixing 3 secondary and 6 tertiary harmonic colors with which many different types of harmonic color compositions can be realized.
