ELABORAÇÃO DE PROPOSTA PARA SUBSTITUIÇÃO DE COPOS DESCARTÁVEIS NO RESTAURANTE UNIVERSITÁRIO

Abstract

In contemporary times, the subject of sustainability is very present in everyday roposals for reusable cups, straws, clothes, shoes, packaging, despite the use of isposable objects that are very popular for their low ecological value of acquisition. owever, the increase life with in solid waste generated by disposables has an environmental concern that did not start today. Therefore, their replacement is necessary and this has been a sustainable strategy. The present work aims to propose the replacement of the use of disposable cups in the University Restaurant (RU), presenting the impact of their use and proposing the exchange with the best economic viability. The evaluation for the replacement was based on the economic aspect, from which the reusable costs were budgeted in 3 companies and, then, a market survey was carried out to obtain an average price of disposable cups. Thus, within the study studied was the economic feasibility to exchange the glasses with the help of the Net Present Value (VPL). In addition, it is graphically a cash flow for better visualization over the years which alternative is viable. Based on university issues, the use of reusable cups is advocated due to the growing demand for meals over the years at this university restaurant. It is recommended that the glass be donated to students enrolled in the restaurant. It is worth mentioning that the proposal is ecologically sound efficient because the generation of waste must reduce with the replacement of disposables, making the university example of sustainability
