With the increase in indirect loads now days, significant amount of harmonic current flow to the impedance of the energy system causing voltage distortion in the frequency of harmonic currents. Voltage degradation and inflammation in the medium power distribution grid are considered the most common type of energy quality problems based on recent energy quality studies.
