Abstract
The article considers the duties, powers and functions of tour operators and travel agencies, notes their advantages and disadvantages. The general indicators of tour operators and travel agencies operating in Azerbaijan were analyzed, dynamics of domestic and foreign trips of Azerbaijani citizens, as well as the number of foreigners traveling in the territory of Azerbaijan were studied.
