The article highlights typical strategies of using etiquette phrases in the discourse of conflict including their use as markers of open and covert speech aggression. Abstract
The article analyzes the ways etiquette formulas are used in conflict interactions between the participants of online communities. The writer brings into focus the tendency for etiquette formulas of gratitude to expand their functions.
