Abstract

The effective engineer mobility support to manoeuvring units is crucial in combat operation to accomplish specified tasks and achieve the goal of the operation. Especially during offensive activities under anticipated effect of enemy fire it is important to be able to support manoeuvre units by proper engineer devices to void slowing down the pace of the operation. The article describes the principles of use of engineer devices for mobility support in the area of command and control on the basis of previous research dealing with appropriate devices for mobility support used by the NATO states armies. The aim of this article is to propose, who will decide about proposed engineer devices, who will suggest their use, use it, and who will collaborate with crew of these engineer devices.
