Abstract

This paper presents Co-CIAT, a collaborative graphics editor for the specification of groupware systems with CIAN notation. The paper describes the process of creating Co-CIAT, as an example of the application of the Learn-CIAM model-driven development method, which has enabled the semi-automatic generation of this collaborative editor, but also the incorporation of awareness mechanisms and other coordination and communication components necessary to support this type of group tasks. Co-CIAT, being an online tool, allows any multidisciplinary team to work without the need to reserve space, travel, etc., which results in cost reduction.
