Abstract

One of the most emergency sections of the street and road network of a large city is considered, full-scale studies of the intensity of traffic and pedestrian flows are carried out. In order to improve road and environmental safety, simulation models based on a discrete-event approach using a traffic library were built, virtual experiments were conducted. Proposals for the reconstruction of the investigated section of the road network are formulated.
