In the dual inverter-based OEW-BLDC motor with 12° commutation mode, the commutation torque pulsation occurs every 6° when a current shifts from one phase to another.In this study, a thorough analysis of the current commutation technique and commutation period of the OEWBLDC motor illustrates to understand the torque ripple and motor speed characteristic.
