Abstract

Abstract This chapter discusses the most common residual strength-based failure theories for composite materials present in the literature. Particular attention is paid to the ability of the models to reproduce experimental observations for multi-stress level (spectrum) loading conditions. Comparisons are also introduced with the familiar Miner's rule results.
