Abstract

As the number of vehicles increases, the demand for parking spots in urban public areas also increased, nevertheless, the streets infrastructure remains undeveloped enough to keep up with this exponential increase. This paper introduces a solution that aims to reduce illegal parking, traffic jams and the average time for finding a free parking slot which in return decreases polluting gases emissions and saves energy.
