Enhanced remediation of diesel contaminated soil by the combined use of Lolium perenne and bacterial consortium

Microbacterium schleiferi and Bacillus subtilis were able to grow at 2% diesel oil concentration and exhibited plant growth promoting activities. Green house analysis revealed that augmentation with biosurfactant producing and plant growth promoting bacteria enhanced the plant growth and diesel oil degradation (80%) as compared to the treatments in which bacteria and plants were separately used. Abstract

Rhizoremediation is a cost effective and aesthetically pleasing technology for the remediation of diesel polluted environment. 黑麦草与细菌联合利用对柴油污染土壤的修复效果研究
根茎修复技术是一种经济、美观的柴油污染环境修复技术。研究了柴油污染对施莱氏微杆菌和枯草芽孢杆菌联合菌群对黑麦草生长和烃降解的影响。本研究分别在0.5%、1%、1.5%、2%和2.5%的柴油浓度下培养三种不同的细菌菌株。对细菌进行了生物表面活性剂、吲哚3-乙酸生成、磷酸盐增溶和抗真菌生物测定等方面的筛选。施莱氏微杆菌和枯草芽孢杆菌在2%柴油浓度下均能生长,并表现出促进植物生长的活性。温室分析表明,与细菌和植物单独使用相比,增加生物表面活性剂生产菌和植物生长促进菌对植物生长和柴油降解的促进作用(80%)。因此,本研究认为,选择菌株与黑麦草一起施用是成功修复柴油污染土壤的较好途径。
