Abstract

in the case of the developed regions, Internet of Things has already stepped out of its infancy - it has been earmarked as the key driver of Industry revolution 4.0 as well as of the Future Internet. In Africa however, most countries have not kept pace with both the underlying technology advancements and research required for Internet of Things. Consultative and deliberate efforts towards a strategic plan for research and development in the Content are one way of redressing this gap.
