There were 50 layers layer layer chicken as research objects with 5 types of treatment, namely P0 = without giving chitosan, P1 = given chitosan 150 ppm, P2 = given chitosan 200 ppm, P3 = given chitosan 250 ppm and P4 = given chitosan 300 ppm. The parameters observed in this study were white blood cells / leukocytes (lymphocytes and neutrophils) and blood proteins (total protein, albumin and globulin) laying hens. The results showed that the administration of chitosan irradiation had a significant effect (P <0.05) on the number of leukocyte, lymphocyte and neutrophil cells. Likewise with the effect of chitosan irradiation on blood protein levels (total protein, albumin and globulin), which were generally significantly different (P <0.05).
