Abstract
The terahertz technique has been undergoing rapid development recently due to the increasing demand for high-speed space communications and high-resolution imaging. As a significant component to support the terahertz wireless systems, high-performance antennas, such as spatial-fed antenna arrays, are urgently required. This paper reports some recent progress in terahertz beamforming spatial-fed antenna arrays in the State Key Lab of Millimeter-Waves, Southeast University, China, including a 140-GHz high-gain transmitarray antenna, a 400-GHz high-gain folded reflectarray antenna, and a 400-GHz compact Airy beam generator.
