Abstract
: Bioethics has as concern and object of study the preservation of planetary life, with special attention to human life and human dignity. Like Bioethics, technological innovations are recent, emerged in the twentieth century and since then, are on the rise. Artificial intelligence, once unimaginable, is now part of the everyday life of human beings, their tasks and their laser. In order to protect life and to appreciate ethical values, bioethical studies reach technological studies and, consequently, the progression of artificial intelligence in the social environment. Therefore, this chapter presents the following problem question: Is Bioethics a science that takes care of life, with a special look at human life, how can it be interrelated to the studies of artificial intelligence? The objective of this dissertation is to present Bioethics as a multidisciplinary and limiting field of study of issues that may harm or threaten life. It is used as a qualitative methodology, through bibliographic research in scientific articles available in the worldwide network of computers, as well as books that deal with the theme.
