Guangdong free trade area (FTA) is one of the four pilot areas for cross-border e-commerce in China and an important hub of the "21st century maritime silk road". The development of cross-border e-commerce in Guangdong free trade area cannot be separated from the further development and improvement of supply chain. Blockchain is a decentralized and transparent database, Starting from the consensus mechanism, distributed storage, cryptography principle and other technologies of blockchain, this paper studies the application value and advantages of this technology in crossborder supply chain, and points out the existing problems and countermeasures.
