Abstract
A high accuracy reputation mechanism based on node state prediction has been proposed in this paper to solve the problem of selfish behavior in mobile Ad-hoc networks (MANETs). Firstly, we analyzed the condition of link existing between the dynamic nodes and the condition which packets transport across the link. Based on the above analysis we proposed the key indicators which guarantee the effectiveness of the link: link duration and congestion probability factor. And then, we proposed a high accuracy reputation evaluating mechanism (Pro-NR) for link stability based on the link duration and the possibility of node congestion in dynamic networks. At last, we analyzed the performance of the mechanism via Matlab simulation platform. The results showed that the proposed mechanism can accurately evaluate the reputation of the node.
