Abstract

NoSQL databases have become very popular in the last few years. Graph databases, as a major NoSQL database type, are used for many problems. In relational databases, conceptual modeling is very important, for which Enhanced Entity-Relationship (EER) model is widely used. Since an EER schema can be considered as a special graph, the idea is given: try to realize it in a graph database. I used Neo4j database management system as a graph database. This paper introduces the Cypher statements and formatting in Neo4j to store and visualize EER.
