However, it was discovered that for Plato education is an important tool to ensure the mastery of knowledge and skills at every stage of the growth of children and adults. Hence the quality of education in Tanzania system depends on the good teaching methodology in order to improve the quality as well as teaching learning materials. Abstract
The focus of this study is on the contribution of Plato’s philosophy of education to the learner-centred approach in Tanzania.
