Abstract

Injectors exiting annular liquid sheets and its subsequent atomization find relevance in rocket propulsion applications. Numerous studies have been performed by researchers in the past for understanding the dynamics of disintegration of annular liquid sheets into droplets under the influence of various factors. The factors mainly include the instabilities on the sheet caused by the effect of surrounding gas flow, in particular.
