The study reveals that the provisions of the law aimed at protecting the rights and interest of electricity consumer in Nigeria are quite adequate but consumers continue to suffer deprivations of their rights owing to inadequate enforcement of the law as well as lack of awareness and apathy on the part of the consumers themselves. Abstract
