A transmission zero is generated to improve the isolation between the first and second passbands. The experimental results agree well with the simulated ones. Abstract
A tri-band bandpass filter using λ/4 parallel-coupled stepped impedance microstrip is proposed. The center frequencies of the three passbands are located at 1.78 GHz, 3.9 GHz, and 5.94 GHz respectively.
