This paper presents a method of automatic gbXML-based building model generation from thermal point cloud. Through the proposed geometry extraction and thermal resistance value estimation techniques, the size and thermal information of the building envelope components are automatically obtained in order to quickly generate building models ready for energy performance simulation.
