The value of the objects under study lies in the fact that in addition to the pronounced external characteristics, they have innovative structural, technical and technological solutions, dictated by regional natural-climatic and local socio-cultural factors. The study reveals the degree of influence of specific natural, climatic, anthropogenic factors on the imaginative and constructive solutions of the architecture of the new generation of public centres. Abstract

The article considers the architecture of two unique objects - shopping and entertainment centre Khan Shatyr (Kazakhstan, Astana) and the Heydar Aliyev Centre (Azerbaijan, Baku), which appeared as a response to modern social demands for a new type of social space - multifunctional, image-making, with a unique artistic image. The value of the objects under study lies in the fact that in addition to the pronounced external characteristics, they have innovative structural, technical and technological solutions, dictated by regional natural-climatic and local socio-cultural factors.
