Abstract

The problem of boundary optimal control for a system of nonlinear elliptic equations simulating radiative heat transfer with Fresnel conjugation conditions on the interfaces of discontinuity of the refractive index is studied. The solvability of the optimal control problem and the non-degeneracy of the optimality conditions are proved.
