Abstract

For the imminent integrated system of sensing, computing and communication, the real-time transmission of information, especially under the massive mobile sensing networks (MMSNs), is a key element that needs to be solved urgently. Age of information (AoI) is a metric used to measure the freshness of information. Existing works typically focus on AoI analysis in static transceivers or mobile scenarios that do not consider interference between transmitters. In this paper, we explore the AoI in MMSNs, including the channel fading, path loss and consider network topology, spatial interaction queue, as well as shared spectrum interference problem. We deduce the upper and lower bounds of AoI in this scenario and obtain the relationship between AoI and mobile speed, spatial density and channel access probability through simulation. We find that the average AoI decreases as the average speed of the jammers increases with preemptive last-come-first-served (LCFS) discipline. It can provide reference for obtaining the optimal AoI of system.
