Abstract

This paper presents the results of modeling and experimental study of a tooth zone of linear electric machines with high-temperature (HTS) elements. In this work, we consider the using of HTS bulks as a diamagnetic material for regulating of reluctance of the tooth zone. It focuses on the ability of HTS elements to change the way of magnetic flux lines in a magnetic system and their influence on an electromagnetic force.
