Abstract

Melting ferromagnetic steel of high frequency currents are used to increase the specific energy of the induction furnace. Since equivalent circuit ferromagnetic charge vary's considerably during heating, the approval process parameters provided by the control modes of the power supply that minimizes the time of melting and power consumption's. Proposed to use thyristor frequency converter with variable topology and an appropriate control system that implements three position regulation, on the basis of which the analysis of energy losses are in comparison with frequency converter "fixed" topology.
