Abstract
The role and place of regional key competencies as elements of human capital in the process of increasing the level of competitiveness of territories are considered. The general and distinctive features of corporate and regional key competencies are outlined, their constituent elements are highlighted. The necessity of using the creative potential of human capital carriers in the process of improving the efficiency of regional development in modern conditions is substantiated.
