Secondly, the HIPSO algorithm is described to solve the unit commitment model. Abstract
The unit commitment problem is one of the famous and important topics in power system research. This paper proposes a novel hybrid immune particle swarm optimization (HIPSO) algorithm for unit commitment considering the environmental cost. Firstly, the unit commitment model with the objective function of minimizing the total cost (including operational cost and environmental cost) is established. Secondly, the HIPSO algorithm is described to solve the unit commitment model.
