Addressing this phenomenon from the lens of enterprise architecture (EA) may support the development of appropriate deployment requirements for optimal government cloud implementation. Thus, this paper is a research in progress that analyses the major barriers and drivers affecting cloud implementation in public organisations, taking into consideration the perspectives of cloud consumers and vendors.
