Prospects for digitalization of the environmental monitoring system

Abstract

Currently, digitalization affects various sectors of the economy. The state plays a significant role in regulating digitalization. Digital transformation opens up great prospects for the ecology and nature management industry. The main advanced technologies that will allow the industry to reach a qualitatively new level are big data, the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence. The introduction of digital technologies and platform solutions into an integrated environmental monitoring system will allow to quickly carry out integrated collection, processing and analysis of data, forecasting and management decisions on environmental protection issues, and ensure the openness of data and decisions made.
