Abstract

A novel miniaturized dual-band bandpass filter (DBBPF) is presented by using a hybrid structure of ridged quarter-mode substrate integrated waveguide (RQMSIW) and open-ended stripline with loading stubs in this letter. TE101and TE102 modes of the RQSMIW cavity are exploited to dominate the first and second passbands, respectively. By using the multilayer PCB process, a prototype dual-band filter operating at 1.37GHz and 2.45GHz is fabricated. The measurement results show the good agreement with the simulation ones.
