Abstract

This paper proposed a new design of a multifunction system for thermal properties testing of solar gravity heat-pipes. For the first time, all the experiment of solar gravity heat-pipe starting temperature, heat transfer ability, aging test and safety performance are done in a set of device in accordance with the requirements of “ISO/DIS-1 22975-2”. The starting temperature, isothermal performance and heat flow of solar gravity heat-pipes can be obtained by using the device. The device is based on enough experiment.
