Abstract

Phase measurements are widely used to identify and localize damage sites in order to respond in a timely manner and isolate hazardous areas in the electric power system. Due to the increasing complexity of the implementation of monitoring schemes for power distribution systems, there is a need for more accurate and rapid measurement of operating parameters. This issue is especially relevant for distribution networks due to smaller power flows and the presence of a higher level of harmonics compared to high voltage networks [1] .
