Each 4-antenna block takes up only 31.4mmX 5mm, and can achieve good isolation (>10dB). It means that, even in a very close space, the antenna can maintain normal operation independently. Abstract
This paper presents an 8-antenna MIMO system based on orthogonal-mode 4-antenna blocks for fifth-generation (5G) multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system. Each 4-antenna block takes up only 31.4mmX 5mm, and can achieve good isolation (>10dB). It means that, even in a very close space, the antenna can maintain normal operation independently. Since that, the proposed MIMO systems can be a good choice for 5G mobile terminals.
