Abstract
We propose and demonstrate a wavelength re-modulated WDM-PON implemented by reflective semiconductor optical amplifiers (RSOAs) using 4B/5B and 4B/6B line codes, which have higher coding efficiency than Manchester code, for downstream modulation.
