Abstract

Out of the requirements of the operational monitoring systems of large steam power plants, this paper suggests a scheme for developing the intelligent control systems in steam power plants by using modern artificial intelligence techniques. Together with some practical cases of application, the idea of the design of the system's functions and its constitution are introduced in this paper. And also, the characteristics and the prospects of the application of intelligent control system in steam power plants are analyzed.
