Abstract

Many professions rely on disguised voice techniques. In contrast to the conventional linear prediction-based modification technique, we propose a disguised voice algorithm with smoothing filtering to improve the modification effect by smoothing the changed pitch period. This paper is based on linear prediction. The cepstrum method is used to obtain and change the pitch period of the speech residual signal, applying the smoothing process on the obtained pitch period, and the speech synthesis is realized using a linear prediction synthesis filter to achieve the pitch change with the same speech rate.
